Stoupa is a seaside village located in Messinian Mani, 45 Km from the city of Kalamata and 55 from the airport. An enchanting village that charms the visitor all the year round. East of the village rises the castle which was the Acropolis of the ancient city of Lefktron. Nikos Kazantzakis, the writer, and Alexis Zorbas, one of his famous characters, lived here during 1916-1917. The area has two beaches. The beach of Stoupa and the beach of Kalogria. You may also organize excursions to the old villages around and also to all the other many local attractions.
